Mr. Luther Eddie Smith age 72

Mr. Luther Eddie Smith age 72 of Rutherfordton went to his reward on Monday September 28, 2015 while being cared for at Rutherford County Hospice.

A native of Cleveland County, NC he was a son of Wallace and Leada Hoyle Smith and was retired from the textile industry. Left to cherish his memory are his companion Juanita Lowman, one brother Mitchell Smith and one sister Rachel Bowen.

Private services will be held at a later date.
