Mr. Marvin “Jim” Cook, 78, of Ellenboro, NC passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Mr. Cole served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.W. Cook and Aileen Deese Cook; 1 sister, Barbara Jean Tart; and 1 brother, Raymond Cook.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara “Frances” Cook; 1 daughter, Sherrie K. Cook and her companion, Carl; 3 brothers, Joe Cook and David Cook, both of Charlotte, NC and Jerry Cook of Claremont, NC.
Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
