Mr. Robert Joseph (Bob) Capaldo, Sr., 89

Mr. Robert Joseph (Bob) Capaldo, Sr., 89, of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Alexander Capaldo and Mary Casaletto Capaldo. Bob formerly was the manager of Coward Shoes in NY and was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Forest City. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was Past Grand Knight and Past District Deputy.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn Aurigema Capaldo, of the home; three sons, Robert Capaldo, Jr. and wife Denise of Ellenboro, David Capaldo and wife Zully of NY and Eric Capaldo of NY. There are also seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The funeral mass was held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Father Herbert Burke and Deacon Andy Cilone officiating. A rosary service was held in the Padgett & King Chapel.

The Padgett & King Mortuary & Crematory is serving the family.
