Mr. Ronald Alvin Taylor, 70, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011. Services was held at Crowe’s Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed in Gilkey United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Dexter and Mettle Taylor; 1 brother, Luther Taylor; and 2 sisters, Ruby Buckner and Sherry Taylor.
He is survived by 1 son, Ronald Wayne Taylor and wife Melissa of Statesville, NC; 1 daughter, Cheryl Taylor Martin and husband Chris of Gainesville, GA; 2 grandsons; 3 sisters, Martha Thomason of Rutherfordton, Sharon Lovelace and husband Johnny of Sunshine, and Rhonda Hale and husband Ricky of West Virginia; 1 brother, George Taylor and wife Betty of Rutherfordton; 13 nieces; and 5 nephews.
