Mr. Roy F. Lovelace, 74, of 139 Greene Road, Forest City, NC passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. Services were held at Harris First Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with military honors being accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Mr. Lovelace served our country in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Lovelace and Lula Belle Morgan Lovelace.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Julia Stacey Lovelace; 2 daughters, Kelly Sloan and husband Norman of Hampstead, NC and Angie Price and husband Greg of Pacolet, SC; 1 son, Ryan and wife Debbie of Shiloh; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
