PrintMr. Thurl Freeman, a resident of Charlotte, who grew up in Lake Lure, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016.
He was the son of the late Max & Hannah Freeman. Siblings are Brenda Burton, Dianne McCurry, Yvonne Gordon, Eric Freeman and Earl O. Freeman.
His wake was held at the Alexander Funeral Home in Charlotte. A Celebration of Thurl's life was held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Lure.
Alexander Funeral Home is serving the family.
