Mr. Tyson Kyle Guy age 96

Mr. Tyson Kyle Guy age 96 went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday August 23, 2017.

Tyson is a son of the late William Amos and Bertie Brown Guy having been born in Duplin County, NC. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, was retired from the local textile industry and was a member of Spindale UMC.

He is survived by one son Rev. Charles Guy and wife Becky of Concord; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister Winnie Bradham, special friend Bea Proctor as well as a number of other family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Janette Hamrick Guy.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ross O'Neal officiating. The burial took place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by The Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spindale United Methodist Church PO Box 241, Spindale, NC 28160.
