Mr. William Walder Young, Jr. "Bill", age 88

Mr. William Walder Young, Jr. "Bill", age 88 of Rutherfordton passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

Bill is a native of Wake County, NC and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Claudia Muniz Young, children Gail Young Attula and husband Gary, Annette Young, Barbara Young Jackson and husband Jeff; one brother, Alvin Young, one sister, Netha Young McKinney and husband Jim; 5 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents William Walder Young, Sr. and Netha Alvin Smith Young and one grandson.

Funeral services were held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Forest City. A graveside service was held in the Apex Town Cemetery, Apex, NC.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
