Mrs. Artie Syrena Smith, 97

Mrs. Artie Syrena Smith, 97, of Forest City, NC, passed away Monday, August 23, 2010. A Graveside Service was held in Cherry Mountain Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Harrill Smith; her parents, George Edmund Hoyle and Ida Simmons Hoyle; 1 great-grandson; 2 sons, Theodore Smith and Robert Smith; 1 daughter, Mattie Davis; and 9 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
