Mrs. Betty Ann Martin, age 79

Mrs. Betty Ann Martin, age 79 of Shelby passed away Saturday August 26, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late William Luther Martin and Lucille Roxanne Sheperd Martin. She was predeceased by a sister Mrs. Shirley Jean Martin Caldwell.

Mrs. Martin was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Shelby and the owner of Betty Anns House of Fashion, Fashions Unlimited and Martins Fabric Barn. She was a graduate, class of 1956, of Shelby High School and a graduate of Cleveland Community College with a degree in Fashion Merchandising.

Mrs. Martin leaves to treasure her memories one daughter Jennifer Martin, of the home, a brother in law Mr. Joel Caldwell of Inman, SC, a nephew, Rev. Joseph Caldwell of Tennessee; two nieces Lynn Caldwell Beard and Deneen Ann Caldwell both of Greenville SC and several other great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friends, Doris Hamrick, Myra Whitesides, Donna Spangler and Betty Grant.

A celebration of her life was held at Eastside Baptist Church in Shelby with Rev. Gail Byrd officiating.
