Mrs. Clara Sue Taylor Lowery, 97, of Caroleen, NC passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Norman Lowery; her parents, Jonathan Fletcher Taylor and Margaret Bradley Taylor; and by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Shelby Jean Greene of Gaffney, SC, Brenda Davis and friend, Steven Vaughan of Wilmington, NC and Linda Hardin and husband Arnold of Caroleen, NC; 1 son, Kenneth Norman Lowery and wife Shirley of Shiloh; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
