Mrs. Dawn Brannock Cox age 85

Mrs. Dawn Brannock Cox age 85 went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 27, 2013.

A native of Galax, VA she was a daughter of the late Charles and Tula Katherine Combs Brannock and the widow of Samuel Lee Cox. 

Mrs. Cox was a retired comptroller and a member of Grace Bible Church. 

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Kathy Hutchinson (John) of Rutherfordton, NC; her son Barry Cox of Rutherfordton, NC; her sister Betty Sue Richey of Tequesta, FL; her sister in law Winkie Brannock of Sparta, NC; her grandchildren – Robert Cox (Penny), Jamie DiPentino (Tony), Aaron Hutchinson (Heather), Nancy Hughes (Perry), as well as thirteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. 

A celebration of her life wad held at Snow Hill Baptist Church 1423 Snow Hill Road Galax, VA with Mr. Sam Blair officiating. Concluding services were held in the church cemetery.

A memorial service will also be held Thursday, January 9, 7PM at Grace Bible Church; 829 Hwy. 64/74 Rutherfordton, NC.
