Mrs. Elsie Cleo Hill Teague, 73, of 274 North Cleghorn St., Rutherfordton, NC passed away Friday, October 1, 2010. Services were held at Second Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, NC. Burial followed in Rutherfordton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Teague; her parents, Gladden and Sara Beatrice Crain Hill; 3 brothers, Leon, Roger and Boyd Hill; and 2 sisters, Gerthie Ferguson and Annie Faye Hill.
She is survived by 1 son, Wendell Ray Teague of Gilkey; 2 daughters, Katrina Ann Abell of Collegeville, PA, and Sherrie Lynn Owens of Union Mills; 2 sisters, Jessie Whiteside of Asheville, NC, and Dorothy Helen Gillespie of Ettawa; 1 brother, Robert Hill of Shingle Hollow; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
