Mrs. Ethel Yelton Arrowood, age 86

Mrs. Ethel Yelton Arrowood, age 86 went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2014.

A native of Rutherford County she was a homemaker, member of Oak Springs Baptist Church, the widow of Claude Arrowood and a daughter of the late Grady and Lela Hutchins Yelton.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Norris Arrowood and wife Betty, Gary Arrowood and wife Sheree, Judy Owens and husband Clifford all of Union Mills, NC; grandchildren – Katherine Repasky and husband John of Lake Lure, Jennifer Cochran and husband Jeff of Rutherfordton, Christopher Owens of Union Mills; great grandchildren – Tyler Arrowood of Lake Lure, Tristan Repasky of Lake Lure, Jake Cochran of Rutherfordton, Rebecca Owens of Union Mills. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Oak Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Darold Crawford and Rev. Tom Frady officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
