Mrs. Eva Irene Bargeron, 89, of Forest City, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Services were held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home in Ormond Beach, FL. Internment followed in Volusia Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Bargeron was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Bargeron and her parents, Monroe and Elizabeth Revis Walker; a daughter, Mary Kittrell; brothers, Nathan Daniel Walker and Mal Walker and a sister, Rhodie Jane Edwards.
She is survived by her son, Nathan Pless and wife Mary of Semora, NC; two daughters, Ila Mae Biggerstaff and husband J.V. of Forest City and Helen P. Yonts of Jonesboro, TN; son-in-law, Leonard Kittrell of Sweetwater, TN; one sister, Myrtle Betenbaugh and husband Bill of Green Creek, NC; one brother, Luther Walker and wife Barbara of Portsmouth, VA; seventeen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
