Mrs. Evelyn Elizabeth Toney Bailey, 79, of 141 Memory Lane, Mooresboro, NC passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Services were held at Race Path Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Curtis; her second husband, Raymond Bailey; her parents, Cicero and Dora Jones Toney; 1 sister, Ocie Jane Toney; and 4 brothers, Glenn Toney, Coran Toney, Zeno Toney and Harley Toney.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Whisnant of Mooresboro, and Kathy Culbertson and husband Jimmy of Forest City; 4 step-daughters, Karen Jowers and husband Steve of Blackville, SC, Deborah Montjoy and husband Jerry of Eutawville, SC, and Sandra Lott and Judy Koenig, both of Harlem, GA; 2 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
