Mrs. Evelyn Marshall Lowery, 76 of Forest City, NC passed away, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Hospice House. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Samuel William Lowery, Jr.; her parents George Edwin Marshall and Lucy Horton Marshall; one son, Michael Lowery; one sister, Selma Holland and two brothers D.P. Marshall and Tom Marshall.
She is survived by one son, Scott Lowery and wife, Donna of Taylors, SC and one sister, Bonnie Tessnear of Forest City, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Harrelson Funeral Home is serving the family.
