Mrs. Fern Beaty Kennedy, 67, of Ellenboro, NC passed away Monday, September 27, 2010. Services were held at Mount Harmony Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, Luss Beaty and Emma Sigmon Beaty; and 1 daughter, Kimberly Ann Kennedy.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert P. Kennedy; 1 son, Alan Kennedy; one daughter, Amy Jennings and husband, Doug; 2 grandchildren; 1 brother, Francis Beaty and wife, Hilda, of Bostic; and five nieces and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to: Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
