Mrs. Gladys Hames Morris, 88, of Forest City, NC passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010. A Graveside Service was held in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Taylor Morris, Sr.; her parents, Almer Hames and Eva Parris Hames; 2 sons, Johnny Max Morris and Douglas Edgar Morris; 3 sisters; 1 brother; and 1 grandson, Douglas Edgar Morris, Jr.
She is survived by 2 sons, Claude Taylor Morris, Jr. of Shelby, and Paul K. Morris of Forest City; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Reverend Carlton Hames and wife Bobbie of Forest City; and 1 sister, Ruby Henson of Forest City.
Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
