Mrs. Gladys "Nadine" Jessup Strickland Lynch, 87

Mrs. Gladys "Nadine" Jessup Strickland Lynch, 87 of Clinton, formerly of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday November 24, 2018.

Born in 1930 in Gilford County, Mrs. Lynch was the daughter of the late John Guilford and Bertha Louella Pigram Jessup. She was a member of the Piney Knob Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Floyd Odell Strickland and Dalton Lynch.

She is survived by her husband, Yates Curlee Williams; son, Kenneth Strickland of Elizabethtown; one sister, Brenda Cockerham of Winston Salem; special niece, Carol Burchette and husband, Kenneth of Clinton; two brothers: John G. Jessup of Greensboro and Harry Jessup of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Earl Strickland, two brothers, Ray Hilton Jessup and Jack Jessup.

Funeral services were held at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.
