Mrs. Helen Smith Price, 92 of 125 Henderson Circle, Forest City, NC passed away Friday, September 17, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Walter Theron Price, Sr.; her parents, Robert Smith and Thelma Ball Smith; 1 son, David Price; 2 sisters, Nancy Turner, and Beatrice Alley; and 3 brothers, Robert Smith, Charles Smith and L.B. Smith.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Sandra Rhodes of Forest City; 1 son, Walter Theron Price, Jr. of Cherryville, NC; 7 sisters, Estelle Campbell, Polly Bradshaw, Peggy Radford, Jackie Bennett, all of Forest City, Sally Searcy of Spindale, Eloise Tessenear of Mooresboto, and Catherine Hyatt of Asheville; 2 brothers, James Smith of Forest City, and Ralph Smith of New York; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
