Mrs. Katie C. Queen, 91, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011. Graveside Services were held in First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery, Golden Valley, NC.
Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edison Queen; her parents, Cyrus Grady Crow and Mamie Simpson Crow; and 1 brother, Marion Monroe Crow.
She is survived by 4 children, Sharon Queen Clark of the home, Koehler Queen of Greenville, NC, Jerry Queen and wife Marilyn of Golden Valley, NC and Phillis Queen Newman of Tampa, FL; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory, Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
