Mrs. Mary Evelyn Hamrick Hughes, 87, of 1356 Rock Rd., Rutherfordton, NC passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, George Hughes; his parents, M.L. and Josephine Wright Hughes; and 1 son, Terry Hughes.
She is survived by 1 son, Scott Hughes of Rutherfordton; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
