Mrs. Ruby Miller Brown, 92, of Fair Haven Nursing Center, native of Spartanburg County, SC, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010. Services were held at Bethel Baptist Church, Ellenboro, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harold Brown; her parents, Robert and Minnie Edwards Miller; and 1 daughter, Stella Baber.
She is survived by 2 sons, Benny Brown of Marion, NC, and Douglas Brown of Yadkenville; 2 daughters, Dot Hyde of Shelby and Brenda Campbell of Bostic; 2 sisters, Jessie Blake of Athens, GA and Ann Lee of Greenville, SC; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethel Baptist Church, Family Life Center Building Fund, 379 Main Street, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home, Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
