Mrs. Willie Mae Lancaster Collins, 89 of Rutherford County passed away on Saturday, January, January 31, 2011. Funeral services were held at A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel, burial followed at Hicks Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Collins; her parents, Melvin and Mabel Bradford Lancaster; brothers, Dupree, Jessee, Jack and Hayward Lancaster; sister, Helen Lancaster; and grandson Adam Lackey.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Collins and wife Debbie of Durham and Gary Collins and wife Teresa of Rutherfordton; three daughters, Freida Pittman and husband Ray of Bostic, Mavic Lackey and husband David of Lenoir, Sandra Greene and husband Whitey of Mooresboro; two sisters, Wilma Allison of Gaffeny, SC and Joyce Parris of Mooresboro; two brothers, M.J. Lancaster of Gaffeny, SC and Hix Lancaster of Chesnee; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home, Cliffside, NC, is serving the family.
