Ms. Diane Ashley, 62, of 496 Hollis Road, Ellenboro, NC, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010. A Memorial Service was held Bostic, NC.
Ms. Ashley was preceded in death by her parents, Arvil Sanford and Mattie Mae Ashley Sanford; 1 sister, Beulah “Bea” Mae Smiley; and 2 brothers, Bob Sanford and Jack Sanford.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Sue Starnes and husband Robert of Cleveland County; 2 sons, John Harvell of Fort Mill, SC and Jonathan Ashley of Ellenboro; 2 sisters, Ellen Smiley of Bostic, and Mary Freeman of Fort Mill, SC; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
