National Get Outdoors Day to be celebrated at Chimney Rock

Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park will hold a National Get Outdoors Day event Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Park naturalists will offer family-friendly guided hikes and kids' activities throughout the day. Other special programs will also be held. Activities are included with park admission; an outdoor viewing of "The Lorax" will be $10 per vehicle/$8 for Annual Passholders or included with an admission receipt from June 13.
