National Night Out

The Forest City Police Department will hold their 2nd annual National Night Out event Tuesday, October 1, from 5-8pm. The event wil be held at the Pavilion on Park Square (POPS) in Forest City.

Local public safety personnel will be interacting with members of the community by providing entertaining activities for kids along with handing out free National Night Out items. The first 500 kids will receive free icees. Please make plans to attend this exciting event with your friends.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
