New Lake Lure Police Department Officer

The Lake Lure Police Department announces their newest hire Officer Carlos Sanchez. Officer Sanchez was sworn in Friday, March 15 at the Town of Lake Lure Town Hall. Officer Sanchez fills a position vacated last December.

Officer Sanchez comes to the department after graduating the Blue Ridge Community College's Basic Law Enforcement Training program. Officer Sanchez, an Army Paratrooper, is eager to begin serving the Town of Lake Lure and its citizens. He will be training with Sergeant Glen Gittens and other officers during the next two months.

Lake Lure town Clerk Michelle Jolley (pictured right) conducted the swearing-in ceremony.
