Once Again The Forest City Big Show Of Shows!

Often called the biggest and best car show in the Southeast, Hot Nights & Cool Rides showcases its’ big show on Saturday, August 16th from 9am to 8pm. The 23rd Annual Car Show sponsored by the Town of Forest City and the Forest City Merchant’s Association has become a major event with hundreds of entries including cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors. It is a panorama of American as well as Foreign ingenuity in design and engineering for motor vehicles. 

In addition, there will be live bands performing, a DJ for additional entertainment as well as food vendors and the judging and awards. Most often the owners are there and will gladly talk to you about their “one of a kind” showcase. 

This is an event that you don’t want to miss. It’s so much fun to walk around, check out the displays and the family always loves it. Remember, the best part. You are most fortunate to be able to partake of this event because it is absolutely free!

Indicative of the magnitude of this annual show, is the fact that it gets bigger every year. Vehicle owners from all over the Southeast clamor to be a part of this Forest City Show of Shows!

Kelly Dale, President of the Forest City Merchants Association says this years’ event “will definitely be the biggest and best ever!” The food vendors will be spread all throughout the show so as to be more convenient for visitors. The entertainment also reaches new heights. This year Jack Roper and The Weatherman Band will perform from 11am to 1pm on the center stage. Rocky Yelton and The Hired Guns will follow from 2pm to 4pm and Night Moves from 6pm to 8pm.

This Saturday, plan to be a part of this annual event. You can walk for blocks, stop to enjoy the live band performances, enjoy some great food and have the time of your life. Be sure to bring a camera so you can capture some great memories. See you there!
