Owl Mania II, McNair Field June 30!

The Forest City Owls would like to invite you to Owl Mania II at McNair Field on Saturday, June 30th to watch the Owls lay the smack down on the Gastonia Grizzlies.

Before the game, you can come meet WWE Hall of Famers Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, the Nasty Boyz and Theodore "Teddy" Long and the wresters from the Eastern Wrestling Federation

Steamboat was inducted into the WWE hall of fame back in 2009. Steamboat was known for his three match series with Ric Flair for the NWA championship and his WrestleMania III match against Randy "Macho Man" Savage. The Dragon was a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a four-time United States Heavyweight Champion, a four-time World Television Champion, a twelve-time World Tag Team Champion.

The Nasty Boyz (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) were known for the street look and colorful attitude in the WWE. The Nasty Boyz were 3 time WCW tag team champions and WWF tag team champions during their career.

Teddy Long was a long time general manager of both "Monday Night Raw" and "Friday Night SmackDown". He spent six years as the general manger of SmackDown and one reign on the WWE show "ECW". He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.

The wrestling action will begin at 6pm and run until 7pm. Tickets are available at forestcitybasell.com. A ticket to the game vs Gastonia must be purchased in order to attend the wrestling event.

In addition, photographs and autographs will be available with the WWE legends and EWF superstars for an additional charge.
