Patricia Herring Gilbert, age 67, of Forest City, NC, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011.
A graveside service was conducted at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens in Cowpens.
Pat was born in Rutherford County, NC to the late Dorothy Harvey.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by Frankie Herring.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Spivey of Spartanburg, Angela Byars and husband, Gregory of Cowpens; two sons, Jerry Kanipe and wife, Heather of Boiling Springs, SC, John Kanipe and wife, Tina of Spartanburg; three sisters, Pauline Givens, Alice Herring, Lillian Herring and two brothers, Sonny Herring and Lee Herring all of Forest City.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial donations are suggested to Trinity Fellowship, POB 1075, Cowpens, SC 29330.
Harrelson Funeral Home is caring for the Gilbert Family.
