Perry Mashburn, age 74

Perry Mashburn, age 74, of Columbus, NC, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021.

Perry was born August 24, 1946 in Rutherford County to the late Paul G. Mashburn and Reba Green Hicks. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Mashburn.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Susan Hensley; brothers, Slick Mashburn of Kings Mountain and Doug Mashburn of Henrietta; sister, Paula Board of Shiloh; daughters, Mia Kuetel of Columbus, NC, Robyn Gordon (Howard) of Caroleen and son, Bobby Hensley of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Military honors were accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
