Phillip Morrow, 69 of Ellenboro went to his heavenly home May 22, 2018.

He was the son of the late Paul and Mary Morrow, born in Shelby on November 19, 1948. He will be rejoicing being reunited with his mother, father and many brothers and sisters.

Phillip was in the Army where he spent his early years fighting for his country in the Vietnam War. After his time in the service he was a guard at several different locations in his hometown, where he met his wife Hattie. Together they enjoyed spending quality time together. They loved going to dinner and watching westerns. He enjoyed his time with his children and grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Hattie Morrow of Ellenboro; one daughter, Donna and her husband Chad Smith of Bostic; one son Larry Dills Jr. of Ellenboro; four grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a cousin Wayne White of Granite Falls. He had three other children Melissa, Teresa and Paul whom all have children of their own.

A gathering of friends and family was held at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. Services followed. Pastor Leon Brown officiated. Military honors were accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.

Eggers Funeral Home served the family.
