Priscilla Doretha Robinson

On January 23, 2014 God called his daughter, Priscilla Doretha Robinson, home to a peaceful sleep. 

She was born on December 22, 1950 in Harris North Carolina to the late Rev. Dr. Milton B. and Lois Robinson. 

She was a graduate of Chase High School, attended Livingstone College and graduated from Isothermal Community College with a degree in cosmetology. She was a hair dresser for many years until her health no longer permitted her. 

Some years ago God called Priscilla onto the mission field where she has served as a pastor, minister, evangelist and ambassador to the kingdom of God. Her ministry has touched many lives as God has led her, both here and in other countries. Her ministry has taken her to France, Africa, Nicaragua and across the United States. She appeared often as a guest minister and was interviewed many times on local TV stations. 

In 1970 she married Leroy Alden Hodge of New York and had two children, Christopher (Dawnette) Hodge, of Rutherfordton and Michelle Arevia Hodge, also of Rutherfordton. She also leaves to cherish her memory, three grandsons, Darron Maurice Hodge of Forest City, Rayvon McNeil of Charlotte, NC and Raymond McNeil,Jr. of NY and four granddaughters, Desiree Hodge of Atlanta, Georgia; Leslie Vanessa Hodge of Spindale, NC and Gracie G. Hodge of Forest City and Quanisha Bryant of South Carolina. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Robinson and Betty McKesson and one brother, Arthur Robinson. She leaves to mourn, four sisters: Evelyn Mercer of Charlotte, NC; Essie Morris of Texas; Annie Jones of Shelby, NC and Phyllis Washburn of Forest City, NC and three brothers: Milton (Ruby) Robinson, Jr. of Forest City; Charles Robinson of Tampa, Florida and Kenneth (Barbara) Robinson of Greenwood, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many special friends.

Funeral Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel.

Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory assisted the family.
