Rail Trail clean-up scheduled for Sunday, April 30th

Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) will be cleaning the entire 8 miles of the Thermal Belt Rail Trail on Sunday, April 30th, and we need your help. All volunteers will meet at the left side parking lot of the McDonald's in Spindale at 11:30 am and divide up into groups from there and each group will cover about a mile of trail.

ROC will supply trash bags and a few pairs of grabbers. Volunteers will leave their trash bags at designated locations along the trail and a ROC representative will pick them up and take them to a convenience center. This is a great opportunity for the community to come together and help keep our Rail Trail looking great so we can all continue to enjoy it.
