Rebecca "Pat" Martin, age 73

Rebecca "Pat" Martin, age 73, of Spindale, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016.

Born October 27, 1942 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Roy and Myrtle Johnson. She and her late husband, Bud, co-owned and operated the Martin Clean-Up Auto Detailing for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and loved family get togethers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Bud Martin and son, Russell Lee Martin; two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her daughter and caretaker, Melissa Fisher and husband, Brandon of Spindale; three sons, Norman Martin, Jimmy Martin and wife, Christy, and Danny Martin and wife, Deborah all of Rutherfordton; daughter-in-law, Tina Martin of Spindale. She is also survived by one brother, five sisters, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was conducted at the Village Chapel with Reverend Frank Ensley and Reverend Shane Ferguson officiating.
