Reverend Jerry E. Campbell, age 69

Reverend Jerry E. Campbell, age 69, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Edward Lee Campbell and the late Annie Lee Campbell. He was a member of Piney Knob Baptist Church where he had served as pastor in the past. He had also served as pastor at Cross Memorial Baptist Church in Morganton, NC and

at Montford Cove Missionary Baptist Church. In the last few years Jerry had served as assistant choir director and Sunday school teacher at Piney Knob Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son in law Jamey Arrowood.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty five years; Gladys Greene Campbell. Two Daughters: Robin Campbell Arrowood, Erin Campbell McSwain and her husband Heath. One Sister: Barbara Conner and her husband James. Four Brothers: Bobby Campbell and his wife Linda Sue, Donald Campbell, Ronnie Campbell and his wife Marilyn, Buddy Campbell and his wife Barbara, four grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Piney Knob Baptist Church. Interment was held at Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery.
