Revis Hines Henderson, age 92

Revis Hines Henderson, age 92, of Mooresboro, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.

Revis was born April 15, 1927 in Rutherford County to the late Gifton Hines and Estelle Williams Hines. She worked for Reeves Brothers Mill for thirty-six years and was a member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church. She served as a Sunday School teacher at the church and enjoyed various types of craftwork and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-one years, Detroy Henderson; two brothers, Otis and Dennis Hines and a granddaughter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Larrie Henderson and wife, Deborah of West Columbia, SC; one grandson, and one great-grandson, both of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by two sisters, Cornelia Durham (Gary) of Mooresboro and Arvenia Henson (Jerry) of Rutherfordton.

A graveside service was conducted at Hicks Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
