In pristine condition, the new and improved playground at Spindale House awaits the arrival of the children. Soon, the air will be filled with the squeals and giggles of children as they rush to explore all the new features this playground offers. Just a few weeks following its completion, Scott Webber, Town Manager, is happy to report, "Since the project's completion, and ribbon cutting ceremony on June 13, we have noticed a great deal more families enjoying the new facility and have received nothing but positive feedback. The Spindale House has always been the center of our community and this project has served to improve the facility both aesthetically and operationally, providing greater opportunities for recreation."

Like others in our county, the town of Spindale has partnered with RHI Legacy Foundation to promote healthy and active living for our children. Webber goes on to say, "This was a great project to replace the aging wooden play structures with brand new equipment and playing surface. The project was made possible by a grant from RHI Legacy Foundation totaling $65,200, which covered the entire cost of the project."

Renewed interest in the playground is already yielding the desired results for the Town and RHI Legacy Foundation, and they invite everyone in the community to come by to see it and bring their children so they may enjoy it as well.
