Richard Brucksch Jr, age 91

Richard Brucksch Jr, age 91 of Lake Lure, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013. 

A native of Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Richard and Katherine Hoehre Brucksch. Richard was a retired Civil Engineer and Surveyor, and a member of Chimney Rock Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran, serving in WWII.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marilyn Moyer Brucksch of the home; daughter Amy Elizabeth Brucksch and husband John Malloy of Tryon; niece Linda Hogan of Hampstead, MD; nephew John B. Dixon of Hampstead, MD; and sister in law Annette C. Gaston of Flowery Branch, GA.

Funeral services were held at Chimney Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Daggerhart officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with military honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
