Robert "Bobby" West, age 76

Robert "Bobby" West, age 76, of Bostic, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Willie Burgin West and the late Sarah Maude Cudd West. He attended Mt. Lebanon Baptist

Church in Bostic. He loved to race dirt track cars, going to the beach, woodworking, riding his motorcycle and boating on Lake James. Bobby was a loving Dad, grandfather, great grandfather and brother and loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by one daughter Deborah West Keck and one brother Carl Michael West.

He is survived by: One Daughter: Sherry West McNeilly and husband Tim. One Sister: Daphine Franklin. One Brother: Paul West. Five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Fri. Sept. 21, 2-3pm at McMahan's Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 3pm in McMahan's Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills at PO Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
