Robert Lawrence "Bobby" Allen, Jr., 54, of Spruce Pine passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Robert Lawrence Allen, Sr. and Mary Margaret Reynolds Allen. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Ellenboro and enjoyed animals and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Best Allen of Casar; a son, Brandon Allen of Casar; a brother, David Allen of Springtown, Arkansas and a sister Rene Mizukami of Honolulu, Hawaii.

The family held a memorial service in the Corinth Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
