Robert Luther Clark, 71

Robert Luther Clark, 71, of Mooresboro, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014. 

A native of Guilford County, he was born on January 20, 1943, a son of the late Green and Ollie Brady Clark. He was retired from Cone Mills Corporation–Cliffside Plant and was the Owner of Clark Plumbing and Repair. Mr. Clark was a member of Fairview Missionary Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Anne Clark; a sister, Helen C. Dills; 2 brothers, C. Wade Clark and Paul S. Clark. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Brady Clark; a daughter, Caroline Clark Downey and husband Keith of Forest City; his brothers, David L. Clark and wife Gayle of Browns Summitt, and Larry D. Clark and wife Bonnie of Reidsville; his sisters, Diane Self and husband Pat of Greensboro, Frances Bullard and husband Bob of Browns Summitt, and Doris Bullock and husband Ronald of Saint Peters, MO; his grandchildren, Joshua Downey and wife Paige and Hannah  Downey; his great grandchildren, Addison Downey and Alayna Downey.

A Celebration of Mr. Clark’s Life was held at the graveside at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Cox officiating.
