PrintRobert Ralph Brian, 81, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
A native of Michigan, he was the son of the late Howard Eunice and Gladys Mae McCall Brian. He was a barber and a member of Grays Chapel Methodist Church.
Robert is survived by his wife, Alma Parker Brian of the home; sons Bruce Robert Brian of Indianapolis and Brent Robert Brian of Raleigh; daughter Laureen Rose of Rutherfordton; eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Montgomery.
Funeral services were held at Grays Chapel Methodist Church with Dr. JJ Powell officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
