Robert "Rob" Harold Goins, age 76

Robert "Rob" Harold Goins, age 76, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

He was the son of the late Roy Lee Goins & Mamie Causby Goins and a native of Rutherford County. Rob was a hard worker and never met a stranger. He loved to fish, work on antique cars, shoot pool, ride four-wheelers and dune buggies. Robert was a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by two daughters; Amanda Beth Goins and Penny Christine Hawthrone.

Survivors include; One Daughter: Susan Goins Vickers and her husband George. One sister; Helen Waters. Four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Oak Springs Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
