Robert "Robbie" Branch, Jr., age 55

Robert "Robbie" Branch, Jr., age 55, of Chesnee, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016.

Born March 4, 1961 in Rutherford County, he is the son of Frank Branch, Sr. of Forest City and Eula Melton Williams also of Forest City. Robbie served in the Army National Guard for several years and was a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of the Village Chapel and enjoyed restoring furniture and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tabitha Owensby.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Mickey Branch; son, Robert Frank Branch III and wife, Tammy of Chesnee; son-in-law, Adam Owensby of Mill Spring; step-father, Bobby Williams of Forest City; two brothers, David Branch and wife, Donna of Ellenboro and Scott Branch and wife, Diane of Cliffside and sister, Lynn Branch of Sunnyview. He is also survived by a special granddaughter, and several nephews.

A memorial service will be held on a later date.
