Ronald LeRoy Cornelius, 76

Ronald LeRoy Cornelius, 76, of Forest City, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015.

A native of Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Beatrice Cornelius. He was a former diesel mechanic on the Alaskan Pipeline, a US Army veteran, and a member of Word of Faith Fellowship.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Parker Cornelius of the home; sons, Mark Cornelius of Rutherfordton, John Cornelius of Forest City, Ronald Cornelius, Jr of Aberdeen, SD, Joel Cornelius of Browning, MT, Christopher Cornelius of Lincoln, NE, Tim Cornelius of Forest City, Gregory Cornelius of Woodbury, TN; daughter Teresa Cornelius of Rutherfordton; fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services were held at Word of Faith Fellowship with Revs. Sam and Jane Whaley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Word of Faith Christian School, 207 Old Flynn Road, Spindale, NC 28160.

Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
