Ronald "Pud" Moore, age 78

Ronald "Pud" Moore, age 78, of Mooresboro, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018.

Ronald was born April 16, 1940 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late David Moore and Cora Hensley Moore. He worked in textiles for over sixty years and was a past member of Grace Baptist Church, formerly Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Pud loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, gardening and welding in his shop.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kevin "Butch" Johnson and a brother, Harold "Dinky" Moore.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Eddie Moore and wife, Cindy of Rutherfordton; two daughters, Brenda Greene and husband, Larry of Mooresboro and Sheila Patterson and husband, Michael also of Mooresboro; two sisters, Carolyn Walters of Union Mills and Teresa Lovelace and husband, Bobby of Henrietta; two brothers, Don Moore and wife, Lynn of Ellenboro and Johnny Moore and wife, Martha of Harris. Ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive him.

The family has requested that the funeral service be private.
