Ronnie Lovelace, age 70

Ronnie Lovelace, age 70 of Bostic passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016.

He was born on July 27, 1946 in Toluca, NC and was a son of the late Elbert Hugh Lovelace and Maggie Hardin Lovelace Marlowe. Ronnie worked for many years in textiles and later as a cook in area nursing homes. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Bostic and enjoyed farming and four wheeling. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His brother, Edward Hugh Lovelace preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Donnie Gettys Lovelace, two sons, Johnny Lovelace and wife Wendy of Bostic, Daniel Lovelace and wife Marie of Ellenboro, three sisters, Joanne Greene, Naomi Murray, and Sandra Graul all of Bostic, as well as three grandchildren.

The funeral was held at Mountain View Baptist Church with Reverend Clayton Hartsell and Chaplain Janice Cooper officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt.
